He worked at Tax Administration Service (Servicio de Administración Tributaria/SAT, performing macroeconomic analysis, development of processes and procedures of different areas through process reengineering, development of economic, statistical forecasts and analysis of multinational companies in the area of international tax matters, interpretation and restatement of financial statements.

He has co-authored articles in several economic and tax publications in Mexico.
